The Vigor EX-B is a fully mobile rugged server with internal battery pack that provides up to 4 hours of power; ideal when you need to be on the move or if your power source is unreliable.
The Vigor EX-B is designed for use in tactical environments where size, weight, and power are a concern, but where laptops simply will not get the job done. Therefore it is perfect for forward deployed military environments or any location where enterprise-class computing is required.
And because of the Vigor EX-B’s “always on” capability, it is well suited for delivering virtualized “local cloud” computing services to multiple users in a remote setting. This enables you to provide reliable cloud computing in the field without having to transport large rack-mount servers and related infrastructure.
